The Aestivalis Aerial Battle Frame, the high-altitude combat version of the humanoid mobile weapon Aestivalis from the 1996 sci-fi masterpiece “Martian Successor Nadesico,” is now a MODEROID plastic model kit from Good Smile Company! It’s armed with a rapid rifle, immediate knife and field lancer; the field lancer can be displayed in deployed mode by replacing the tip. The sensor antennas on is head can be displayed deployed or collapsed. By deploying the booster pack on its back, the frame replacement system core, the assault pit, can be removed and transformed. A spare battery container is included, and can be displayed open by sliding the container’s side.
