Description
Mecha-King Ghidorah
by Fujimi
Mecha-King Ghidorah, as seen in the 1991 film “Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah,” now joins the “Chibimaru Godzilla” model-kit lineup from Fujimi!
- This series of super-cute characters from past “Godzilla” movies features easy assembly, even for those with no previous model-kit experience!
- The touch-gate design allows parts to be removed from the runners by hand, without the need for nippers, and the parts are pre-colored so painting is not required. (Please be aware that, due to the touch-gate design, parts may occasionally become detached from the runner due to impacts during shipping.)
- The parts snap together, too, so glue isn’t necessary.
- The figure will be palm-sized when completed, so it’ll be easy to display anywhere.
- Articulation in the head, torso, wings, legs, and tail allow for a wide range of poses after assembly, and the lower jaw and tongue are articulated with ball joints for easy posing! The original left and right necks each feature three points of articulation, while the central mecha-style neck has six points of articulation. The legs each have two points of articulation, and the tail has four.
- The shape is realistic and retains all of Mecha-King Ghidorah’s distinctive features, even with the super-deformed design. The central head is intricately detailed, including sharp antennae on both sides and fangs inside the mouth. The laser cannon mounted in the upper jaw is made into a separate part for added visibility. The eyeballs on the mechanical head are clear green, and specially colored parts are included to give them a glowing appearance!
- The original faces’ horns and scaly surfaces are carefully reproduced, and for ease of assembly, it’s made in a single part from the horns to the nose. Stickers are included for the original heads’ eyeballs, with three color tones and patterns to choose from.
- The large armored torso, which houses the mechanical hands used to capture Godzilla, is provided as a special part that’s divided into three parts for ease of assembly: the front and two back parts. The upper torso features a cockpit part modified from the Time Machine KID, and is provided as a separate part.
- Metal-colored spring pipe parts are included exclusively for the nerve conductors that transmit operation commands from the cockpit. The conductor moves flexibly in response to neck movements, and a choker (collar) and torso-side support for the conductor parts are included too. The left and right original necks are also made with dedicated parts that are compatible with the choker.
- The armored shins of the legs are made with dedicated parts; the mechanical hands allow the original lower-body shape to be adapted with dedicated parts. The soles of the feet are specially designed with textured skin to ensure realism when displayed in flight.
- Stickers are provided for the original heads’ eyes, mouth cavity, and detailed paintwork of the mecha’s neck and wings. The stickers are pre-cut and made of a material that’s highly adaptable for easy application. Stickers for both the original parts and the mechanical parts are included.
