Bandai’s “Hi-Metal R” version of the VF-2SS Valkyrie II from “Macross II: Lovers Again” is back, equipped with the Super Armed Pack (SAP)! The missile launcher and other parts are reproduced by opening and closing the hatch, and with parts replacement; in addition to the SAP, four Squire Drones are included. The Squire Drones can be displayed on the Tama Stage (sold separately). The Valkyrie II can be displayed with or without the SAP, and the Gerwalk form is recreated by replacing some of the toes; in Fighter form, the landing gear is recreated with parts replacement. The canopy is molded of clear parts, and a pilot figure of Silvie Gena is included that can fit into the cockpit. A special display base is included with the “Macross II” logo and an image of Ishtar, the singing shrine maiden; the Valkyrie II can be displayed in any of its three forms with the base.
