This figure depicts Thor from the so-called “Bronze Age” of the comics, from the latter half of the 1970s into the 1980s, with a slightly darker worldview. The figure is finely modeled with modern 3D sculpting technology, and the bold colors used in the paintwork even extends to the shadow colors, giving it a texture like contemporary art. Kotobukiya points out that they’ve even used recycled paper and other materials in the packaging, and the outer box is not coated so it can be safely recycled as well.
